The newly elected national chairman of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, has kicked off his political agenda by appointing special aides who will help him achieve his goals.
In a statement released by Adewale Oladipo, the national secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Wednesday, the national chairman of the party, Ali Modu Sheriff, has appointed Inusa Mohammed as his Principal Secretary.
The statement also said the party’s leadership had approved the appointment of Uche Nnaji as the Political Adviser to Modu Sheriff, while an ex-Senator, Saidu Kumo, was appointed as the Special Adviser on National Assembly Relations.
The statement added that another former Senator, Ighoyota Amori, was appointed as the Special Adviser, Reconciliation and Conflict Management.
"The appointments take immediate effect".
